HISTORY
Paddockhurst Stables was formed in 1970 by Dave Kapchinsky and has continually been one of western Canada's top thoroughbred breeding facilities for over 30 years. Producing highly successful stallions like Son of Briartic, Highland Ruckus, Park Regent, Slew of Angels, Hurricane Center, Rebmec and featuring new addition "Half a Year". Dave Kapchinsky's vision of Paddockhurst Stables was driven by a love for horses and that pride is still evident today in every aspect of the operation.
Paddockhurst Stables is located on 110 acres of prairie land minutes south of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with four separate barns and segregated paddocks. Led by Mike Secker, with over 30 years of experience in the thoroughbred industry, Paddockhurst Stables is in every way everything that should be expected from a boarding and breeding facility.
Over its thirty-three years Paddockhurst Stables has seen many changes however, producing quality thoroughbreds has never changed.
